1xBet Secures Exclusive Betting Partnership with PGL for Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2 Events

Online gambling operator 1xBet has been announced as the exclusive betting partner for PGL’s Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2 tournaments, securing the deal until the end of 2026. The agreement grants 1xBet broadcasting rights to stream live matches on its platform while also integrating its branding into PGL event broadcasts.

Expanded Collaboration with PGL

Under the new partnership, 1xBet will sponsor PGL-operated events, starting with the Counter-Strike 2 tournament in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, on 14 February 2025. As part of the agreement, 1xBet will have its branding incorporated into live streams and promotional materials during event broadcasts.

“The esports community is fundamental to us, and partnering with PGL is one way for us to reach out and support that community directly”, said a spokesperson for 1xBet.

Strengthening Presence in Esports

This partnership further solidifies 1xBet’s position in the esports sector. In 2024, the company collaborated with PGL for the PGL Copenhagen Major, where it served as the main partner. Additionally, 1xBet has previously engaged with leading esports organizations such as Bestia and OG Esports to support tournament development and audience expansion.

“We put on tournaments together to help esports reach new people worldwide and share what makes it so cool. That’s key to making esports truly global”, added 1xBet.

Beyond PGL, 1xBet has also worked with other major tournament organizers. In 2023, it partnered with Skyesports to sponsor the Skyesports Masters, India’s first franchise-based Counter-Strike league.
