3 Oaks Gaming Expands in Europe with Market Approvals in Romania, UK, and Portugal

3 Oaks Gaming continues its rapid expansion across Europe, securing regulatory approvals in Romania, the United Kingdom, and Portugal. The company has received certification from the Romanian National Gaming Office (ONJN) for over 50 slot titles, gained full UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) approval to launch its portfolio, and entered the Portuguese market through a partnership with Betclic.

3 Oaks Gaming Secures Regulatory Approval in Romania

3 Oaks Gaming has obtained regulatory certification in Romania, further strengthening its footprint in Europe. The Romanian National Gaming Office (ONJN) has confirmed that more than 50 of the company’s slot titles have passed regulatory checks and are now available to Romanian players. Among the approved games are Coin UP: Lightning, 3 Hot Chillies, and Sun of Egypt 4.

“Securing certification for our games in Romania represents an important milestone for 3 Oaks Gaming as we continue to extend our reach across Europe. The achievement demonstrates our focus on providing engaging, compliant and high-quality content to new markets. Romania is a vibrant and growing market, and we are eager to collaborate with local operators to bring our diverse range of games to players in the country”, commented Yuriy Muratov, Chief Commercial Officer at 3 Oaks Gaming.

With this approval, Romania joins the expanding list of regulated jurisdictions where 3 Oaks Gaming can offer its portfolio, solidifying the company’s position in the European iGaming landscape.

Strengthening Presence in the United Kingdom

Alongside its Romanian expansion, 3 Oaks Gaming has made significant progress in the United Kingdom. Although the company obtained its UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) remote license in March 2024, it has now received full approval to launch a wide range of its slot titles in the market following a regulatory review in January 2025.

Sebastian Damian, Managing Director of 3 Oaks Gaming, described the achievement as a pivotal moment for the company.

“Securing UKGC certification for our extensive portfolio is a landmark achievement for 3 Oaks Gaming. It underscores our commitment to delivering high-quality, engaging content that aligns with the highest regulatory standards. The UK market represents a pivotal opportunity for us, and we are excited to partner with operators to bring our diverse games to players across the region. This milestone is a testament to our dedication to global growth and our ongoing mission to promote responsible and enjoyable gaming experiences”, he added.

This regulatory green light allows 3 Oaks Gaming to expand its reach in one of the world’s most established and competitive gaming markets.

Entering Portugal Through Betclic Partnership

3 Oaks Gaming has also expanded into Portugal, securing approval from the Serviço de Regulação e Inspeção de Jogos Turismo de Portugal (SRIJ) to introduce more than 40 of its slot titles to the market. This entry is facilitated through a collaboration with Betclic.pt, one of Portugal’s leading operators and the first company to secure an online betting license in the country in 2016.

The integration of 3 Oaks’ titles into Betclic’s platform is made possible via IGT PlayDigital, a system that allows operators to access a wide range of third-party gaming content through a single integration.

Krasimir Pankovski, Head of Sales at 3 Oaks Gaming, previously spoke about the company’s game development strategy and its specialization in Hold and Win mechanics.

“For us, it is important to focus on our niche, showcasing that 3 Oaks Gaming is one of the top providers of Hold and Win games across the globe and we deliver a high-quality product that continues to evolve. We also observe that the Hold and Win mechanic still has a hugely successful impact, so it is vital that we ensure that our portfolio remains fresh and unique, subtly adapting this classic series of slots with vibrant and modern twists to ensure they remain in the player’s gaze”, he highlighted.
