Angela van den Berg Joins Relax Gaming as General Counsel
Relax Gaming has appointed Angela van den Berg as General Counsel, strengthening its executive leadership with a legal expert who brings over 20 years of international experience in the iGaming sector. She will be based in the company’s Isle of Man office and will oversee all legal operations during a key phase of the firm’s growth.
Extensive Legal Background in iGaming
Angela van den Berg joins Relax Gaming with more than 17 years of direct experience advising companies in the iGaming industry. Her legal background spans commercial, corporate, and intellectual property law across multiple jurisdictions. Over the course of her career, she has served both in private legal practice and as in-house counsel, developing a strong foundation in regulatory compliance and strategic legal advisory.
Prior to joining Relax Gaming, van den Berg held the position of Chief Legal Officer at Games Global. In that role, she played a key part in establishing the company’s global corporate structure and legal function. She was also responsible for formulating and implementing the group’s global legal strategy, a move that contributed significantly to the company’s internal governance framework.
Leadership Responsibilities at Relax Gaming
In her new role at Relax Gaming, van den Berg will oversee the group’s legal affairs and lead its legal department. She is expected to collaborate closely with the wider business to provide legal guidance across all operational areas, supporting the company’s ongoing expansion and strategic goals in global markets.
Beyond her legal work, van den Berg is also Chair of Love Tech, a charity based in the Isle of Man. The organization aims to inspire and mentor young women pursuing careers in STEM fields.
