Aposta Ganha Enters Brazil’s Regulated Betting Market
Grupo Aposta Ganha has become one of the first companies to operate under Brazil’s new betting regulations, commencing licensed operations on January 1, 2025.
Among the First Licensed Operators
Aposta Ganha, a Brazilian sports betting and online gaming platform, has officially launched in the regulated market with registration number 0022 in the Betting Management System (Sigap). Licensed by the Secretariat of Prizes and Betting (SPA), part of the Ministry of Finance, the company now operates under a framework designed to enhance consumer protection and market integrity. This milestone comes after six years of establishing itself as a prominent player in the Brazilian gaming industry.
Commitment to Responsible Gaming
Even before the introduction of SPA’s guidelines, Aposta Ganha integrated Responsible Gaming principles into its operations. By prioritizing these values, the platform has positioned itself as a trusted and responsible operator in the market. The transition to regulated operations further underscores the company’s dedication to fostering a safe and transparent betting environment for Brazilian consumers.
Rene Santos, Co-CEO of Grupo Aposta Ganha, highlighted the importance of this achievement, stating:
“We’re fiercely proud of our Brazilian heritage and are happy to announce our successful completion of the federal operating license application laid out by the Ministry of Finance. Strict criteria laid out in the application will bring stronger consumer protection and market integrity. Our hard work has seen us join an exclusive tier of companies authorised to offer an entertaining and 100% secure gaming experience throughout the country.”
