Aristocrat CTO Andy Hendrickson Resigns Amid Ongoing Executive Departures
Aristocrat Leisure has announced the resignation of Chief Technology Officer Andy Hendrickson, who is leaving to join an undisclosed competitor. His departure marks another high-profile executive exit for the Australian gaming giant, which has seen multiple leadership changes in recent months.

Leadership Transition Underway
Hendrickson joined Aristocrat in July 2021 after working as CTO at a visual effects start-up and Activision. He will step down after serving his required notice period.
Aristocrat has not confirmed whether he has completed the full six-month requirement.
CEO Trevor Croker acknowledged Hendrickson’s contributions. “We thank Andy for his contribution to our business over the last four years and look forward to announcing his successor in due course,” he said.
More Executives Leave Aristocrat
Hendrickson’s exit follows several recent leadership departures. In December, CEO of gaming Hector Fernandez left to lead a gaming venture at Apollo Global Management.
Aristocrat promoted Craig Toner, its former CFO and EVP of operations, to replace him.
Chief Legal Officer Chris Hill also retired in October. Her deputy, Anne Tucker, stepped into the role.
Croker praised Hill for strengthening Aristocrat’s legal team during a period of rapid growth.
Strategic Shifts Continue
Hendrickson’s resignation comes shortly after Aristocrat restructured its Pixel United social gaming division.
The company sold Plarium Global, a mobile game development studio, following a review of its casual and mid-core gaming portfolio.
