Belatra Releases Big Wild Buffalo 2
Belatra has introduced Big Wild Buffalo 2, adding upgraded Wild mechanics, a new multiplier system, and expanded bonus features to one of its most successful slot themes.
A Return to the Open Prairie
The game places players back on the wide plains of the American West, with canyons and mountain ranges framing a landscape built for high-energy spins. A drum-driven soundtrack punctuates wins, reinforcing the sense of scale and movement that carries through the entire experience.
At the centre of the design is the Wild Buffalo symbol. It appears on reels two through five and can stand in for standard symbols. When a Wild lands partially in view, the reel nudges to display the full symbol, increasing the Wild’s multiplier by one with each nudge. Multiple Wilds add their multipliers together, and if they land on adjacent reels, the symbols merge – multiplying their values rather than simply adding them. In Free Games, merged Wilds become sticky and remain locked in until the feature ends.
Free Games and a Climbing Multiplier
Free Games trigger when three or more Scatters land anywhere. The feature scales from eight to 10 spins depending on the number of Scatters, with six unlocking 10 spins in the more volatile Hot Mode.
During standard Free Games, a global multiplier begins at x1 and increases whenever a portal appears on the reels. A buffalo charges through the portal, raising the multiplier by one. All wins during the bonus round are multiplied by the global value, which can continue growing throughout the feature. Additional Scatters can extend the round up to a maximum of 100 Free Games.
Hot Mode shifts the pace immediately, launching the feature with a global multiplier set between x2 and x10. From there, the same portal mechanic applies, allowing the multiplier to build even further.
Hold-and-Win and Extra Features
A Hold-and-Win Bonus activates when six or more special symbols land on the reels. These can include Credit, Donor, Magnet, or Cloning symbols, all contributing to a distinct bonus mechanic. The slot also includes Extra Bonuses and a Buy Bonus option for players seeking direct entry into the feature set.
