About Alea
Company Origins and Ownership
Founded in 2012, Alea was originally established as a full-service B2C operator but soon pivoted toward aggregation technology. Tts founder and initial visionary is Alexandre Tomic, who is also known for launching SlotsMillion, one of the first VR casinos in the world.
Today, Alea operates as an independent B2B company. The group is headquartered in Barcelona, with additional offices and operational capacity in Malta.
Alea is led by Jordi Sendra, who serves as CEO. Under his leadership, the company has focused on delivering scalable, secure, and flexible technology infrastructure that supports rapid market entry for casino operators.
The operational side of the business is overseen by Ramon Glieneke, Alea’s Chief Operating Officer. His role encompasses commercial development, regional expansion, and regulatory alignment across the company’s growing list of clients and partners.
Product Portfolio
Alea’s core offering is a pure game aggregation platform that connects casino operators to over 160 certified game providers via a single, secure API. The aggregation suite features more than 15,000 games, including:

-
Live dealer content

Supported providers include leading names such as Evolution, Play’n GO, Pragmatic Play, Playtech, Red Tiger, Yggdrasil, and many others. The platform also supports multi-currency wallets, localisation tools, session control, and multi-brand deployments.
In 2025, the company expanded its service portfolio with the launch of Alea Pay, a dedicated payment aggregator tailored specifically for gaming operators. The service is integrated directly into Alea’s game platform, offering streamlined payment flows across a wide range of financial providers and regulatory regimes.
Technology
Alea’s back end is built on cloud-native microservices architecture, hosted on AWS and engineered for 99.95% uptime. It supports dynamic scaling, zero-downtime deployments, and real-time data processing. Some of its standout features include:

Markets and Licences
Alea is active in a wide range of regulated markets, with a strong presence in: Spain, Romania, South Africa, and Brazil.
The company has focused particularly on Latin America, where it has been among the first aggregators to offer certified games in newly regulated markets like Brazil. As of 2025, Alea claims the largest aggregation portfolio available in Brazil, with more than 16,000 titles approved for local operation.
While Alea is not a licensed B2C operator in all jurisdictions, its platform is fully aligned with regulatory requirements in licensed environments and supports integrations with local monitoring and reporting systems.
