RushBet

RushBet is an online sports betting and casino brand owned and operated by Rush Street Interactive (RSI), a U.S.-based iGaming company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Originally launched in Colombia in 2018, RushBet has become RSI’s flagship brand in Latin America, now operating in three regulated markets: Colombia, Mexico, and Peru.

About

Company Background

Rush Street Interactive was founded in 2012 as the digital arm of Rush Street Gaming, a U.S. casino group known for its land-based operations. RSI became an independent, public company in 2020. Its core brands are BetRivers (used in the U.S. and Canada) and RushBet (used in Latin America).

RSI specializes in online sports betting, casino, and social gaming, with operations in over a dozen U.S. states, Ontario (Canada), and multiple Latin American countries. The company is known for its early entry into regulated markets and for developing its own proprietary online gaming platform.

Latin American Markets

Colombia
RushBet.co launched in 2018 after RSI obtained a license from Colombia’s regulator, Coljuegos. This made RSI the first U.S. company to launch a regulated online sportsbook in Latin America. The platform quickly gained traction and is now among the top three operators in Colombia in terms of total handle.

Mexico
In June 2022, RSI launched RushBet.mx through a 25-year partnership with Grupo Multimedios, a major Mexican media company. Under the agreement, RSI manages the online gaming operations, while leveraging Multimedios’ media assets to promote the brand and integrate content.

Peru
In July 2024, RSI expanded into Peru with the launch of RushBet.pe, offering sports betting and online casino products under local regulatory frameworks. The platform was designed with regional preferences in mind, featuring multiplayer games, local sports content, and Spanish-language interfaces.

Product Offering

RushBet provides a full suite of online gambling products through its proprietary platform, with localized features for each market:

  • Sportsbook: Covers major international leagues (e.g., EPL, La Liga, NFL, NBA, MLB) and regional competitions (e.g., Liga MX, Liga 1, Copa Libertadores). Offers live betting, in-play odds, and cash-out options.

  • Casino: Offers over 350 games including slots, table games, and live dealer content. Partners include Evolution, Light & Wonder, and Inspired Entertainment. Features include personalized recommendations and tournaments.

  • Live Streaming & Features: Select sporting events are available via in-app streaming. The app includes player chat, dynamic odds updates, and rapid withdrawal functionality.

  • Loyalty and Rewards: RushBet adapts RSI’s loyalty model from the U.S., with point-based systems and tiered rewards to drive user retention.

Sponsorships and Partnerships

RushBet supports its brand presence with a range of high-impact sponsorships across Latin America and beyond:

  • LaLiga (South America): In 2021, RushBet became the exclusive wagering partner of LaLiga in Colombia, later expanding the deal to cover all of South America in 2022. The agreement includes use of LaLiga branding, IP, and exclusive fan experiences.

  • Everton FC (UK): RushBet.co became the first Colombian brand to sponsor a Premier League club, launching campaigns with Colombian stars James Rodríguez and Yerry Mina during their time at Everton.

  • Liga 1 (Peru): RushBet is an official sponsor of Peru’s top-tier football league, enhancing its reach among domestic football fans.

  • Millonarios FC (Colombia): The brand is the official betting partner of Millonarios FC, one of Colombia’s most popular clubs. The sponsorship includes stadium branding, digital activations, and fan engagement campaigns.

  • Grupo Multimedios (Mexico): Through its long-term partnership, RushBet accesses Grupo Multimedios’ TV, radio, and digital media properties to drive brand visibility and conversion in the Mexican market.

RushBet is positioned as RSI’s long-term investment in Latin America. The brand focuses exclusively on regulated markets and builds operations tailored to local languages, sports preferences, and payment ecosystems.

According to RSI, further expansion into additional markets—especially Brazil—is under consideration, contingent on regulatory developments. Meanwhile, the company continues to scale RushBet’s user base through product enhancements and new content partnerships.
