Celtic FC Extends Historic Partnership with Dafabet
Celtic Football Club has announced a three-year extension of its partnership with Dafabet, cementing the longest shirt sponsorship in the club’s history. Dafabet’s name will continue to feature prominently on Celtic kits, marking a 12-year streak starting from the 2016/17 season.
A Partnership Rooted in History
The collaboration between Celtic and Dafabet began in 2015 when the company joined as the club’s International Betting Partner.
A year later, Dafabet became the front-of-shirt sponsor, a role it has now held for nearly a decade. This newly extended agreement reinforces the 13-year relationship.
Supporting the Celtic Community
Dafabet’s contributions extend beyond commercial benefits, showcasing a commitment to Celtic FC Foundation and local community initiatives.
The company has regularly donated shirt space to promote the Foundation’s appeals and campaigns, provided match tickets for local charities, and supported fundraising events.
Notably, Dafabet’s annual “Play on the Park” initiative has become a symbol of its dedication to Celtic’s wider community.

John Cruces, Dafabet’s Head of Sponsorship, expressed pride in the partnership’s longevity.

Celtic Chief Executive Michael Nicholson highlighted Dafabet’s importance to the club.
