Flutter Entertainment and Aviator LLC Resolve Legal Dispute
Flutter Entertainment and Aviator LLC have reached a settlement, concluding their legal dispute over the use of the Aviator name and logo. As part of the resolution, both companies have signed a long-term commercial partnership, granting Flutter the rights to market and distribute Aviator-based online games on a global scale.

Trademark Dispute and Court Ruling
The conflict stemmed from Aviator’s claim that Spribe and Flutter-owned Adjarabet had improperly registered the Aviator trademark. Aviator filed a lawsuit in Georgia, arguing that these registrations were made in bad faith and constituted copyright infringement.
The Court of First Instance ruled in favor of Aviator, determining that Spribe had violated both copyright and trademark protections. As a result, the court invalidated the contested trademark registrations.
Financial Settlement and Flutter’s Initial Response
Following the ruling, Aviator was awarded $330 million in damages, and Adjarabet was instructed to cease using the ‘Aviator’ title for its crash game.
Flutter initially announced plans to appeal the decision. However, the latest agreement signals a shift in strategy, with both parties opting for a business partnership rather than prolonged litigation.
In the aftermath of the court decision, Aviator took additional steps to solidify its brand rights, filing an invalidation action against Spribe with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
