GAMOMAT Expands Gaming for the Climate with Lava Lions

GAMOMAT, an independent software developer for slot games, has taken a step further in its commitment to environmental conservation by introducing Lava Lions to its Gaming for the Climate initiative. The new addition aims to support the African Wildlife Foundation (AWF) and its vital conservation efforts.

Promoting land conservation

Lava Lions, which was initially launched in June 2021, has already gained immense popularity due to its stunning graphics featuring Diamond Wilds, Volcano Scatters, and the top-paying stacked Lion symbol. As part of the Gaming for the Climate project, a portion of GAMOMAT’s net revenues from selected games will be donated to support various conservation projects.

The funds raised from Lava Lions will aid AWF in its mission to enhance regional conservation strategies and engage communities in land-use planning and restoration activities. The focus is on promoting land conservation and forest management while co-managing protected areas to ensure long-term sustainability.

Part of the funding will also be dedicated to implementing patrol strategies to combat illegal wildlife trafficking activities, improving landscape connectivity between Tsavo West and Tsavo East National Parks, and restoring overgrazed areas. In total, the project will support a habitat spanning 42,000 square kilometres, providing a home to approximately 430 lions.

Climate protection efforts

Lava Lions joins Book of Oasis and Monkey Mania as the third title under the Gaming for the Climate banner, each contributing to climate protection efforts. Since 2021, revenue from Book of Oasis has been supporting Healthy Seas, while Monkey Mania has been helping the Borneo Orangutan Survival (BOS) organization since its launch last year.

Operators partnering with Bragg can access Lava Lions through Bragg HUB, while it is also available for social gaming via Whow.
