Games Global Limited announces Gavin Isaacs will step down as Chairman, effective immediately, due to his upcoming role as CEO of Entain plc. Isaacs will remain as an Independent Non-Executive Director, with CEO Walter Bugno serving as Interim Chairman.
Gavin Isaacs Steps Down as Chairman
Games Global Limited (“Games Global” or “the Company”) announced that Gavin Isaacs has agreed to step down from his role as Chairman of the Board of Directors, effective immediately, in connection with his appointment as CEO of Entain plc, commencing on 2nd September 2024. Isaacs will continue to serve on the Board of Games Global as an Independent Non-Executive Director.
The Company expressed gratitude to Isaacs for his significant contributions since his appointment in October 2022. Under his leadership, Games Global has seen substantial growth and development, benefiting from his strategic insights and guidance.
Walter Bugno Assumes Role as Interim Chairman
Walter Bugno, the Company’s CEO and a member of the Board of Directors, will serve as Interim Chairman until a new permanent Chairman is appointed.
Bugno commended Isaacs, stating, “I would like to congratulate Gavin on his appointment as CEO of Entain plc. He has been a tireless advocate for Games Global and as Chairman has played a key leadership role in building our business. We very much look forward to continuing to benefit from his insight and expertise as a member of our Board.”
