GR8 Tech Examines Six Key LatAm Markets

GR8 Tech has released a new analysis outlining the defining characteristics of six major Latin American iGaming markets. The study covers Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay, focusing on regulation, player behaviour, digital activity, and market performance.

Report Structure

The “LatAm Beyond Brazil” study was developed with iGaming Business and includes input from external specialists and GR8 Tech’s internal team. It provides market snapshots with GGR data, player numbers, and growth projections, as well as information on traffic sources, social media usage, and local activity patterns. The report also reviews taxation rules, compliance requirements, and regulatory enforcement across each jurisdiction.

GR8 Tech emphasises that Latin America cannot be approached as a uniform region. Argentina’s provincial licensing, Peru’s developing regulatory framework, and Chile’s evolving environment illustrate the complexity operators face. Differences in preferred sports, casino content, and payment choices further reinforce the need for tailored strategies.

Industry Perspective

Yevhen Krazhan, CSO at GR8 Tech, said:

“LatAm is one of the iGaming industry’s most dynamic regions, but treating it as a monolith is a costly mistake. While Brazil dominates headlines, markets like Argentina, Colombia, and Chile are carving their own paths. Our team designed this report to highlight the features, nuances, and opportunities of the top six markets and help operators make informed decisions based on data.”

The study points out that operators need local knowledge to enter these markets effectively. This includes adapting content, payment flows, and compliance processes to national conditions. GR8 Tech positions its report as a tool for navigating the region’s diverse regulatory and behavioural landscape.
