GRID Joins IBIA to Boost Esports Integrity
GRID, esports data platform, has officially joined the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) as the first esports-focused Associate Member, to promote integrity within the esports industry.
Strengthening Collaboration on Esports Integrity
This partnership aligns GRID with IBIA’s global network, which monitors over $300 billion in sports betting annually and has an increasing focus on esports betting. Together, GRID and IBIA aim to address integrity challenges in esports and fostering trust.

Since 2018 GRID has been developing data driven solutions for esports integrity. Its internal integrity department monitors tournament and data integrity, flags suspicious activities and maintains a database of integrity reports. As a member of IBIA’s Data Standards program since 2022 GRID has been working on bespoke esports integrity protocols.
IBIA’s Anti-Corruption Work
IBIA is a not for profit organisation that represents over 50 betting companies with more than 125 sports betting brands. Its global monitoring network is an anti-corruption tool, detecting and reporting suspicious activities in regulated betting markets by analysing transactional data linked to individual customer accounts.

Under this partnership, GRID and IBIA will share intelligence on suspicious esports betting activities and potential match manipulation, leveraging their respective monitoring platforms. Additionally, IBIA members will gain free access to GRID’s integrity-focused resources, enhancing collective efforts to combat betting-related corruption.
