Harry Heynes Joins SIS as Head of New Business

Sports Information Services (SIS) has appointed Harry Heynes as Head of New Business. Heynes, a seasoned professional in the iGaming and sports betting industries, is set to drive the company’s global growth and strengthen its market presence.

Strategic Appointment to Bolster Global Reach

In this newly created role, Harry Heynes will focus on expanding SIS’s commercial reach by leveraging his extensive industry experience. With a decade-long career in iGaming, sports betting, and payments, Heynes is recognized for his ability to foster strategic partnerships and drive business growth.

Before joining SIS, Heynes made significant contributions at Inspired Entertainment as Director of Business Development, where he helped secure pivotal deals to enhance the company’s market position. He also led B2B development at DraftKings, overseeing key partnerships with data and odds providers, further solidifying his reputation as a skilled commercial leader.

SIS Positioned for Global Growth

The appointment comes as SIS continues to expand globally, with its esports betting product, SIS Competitive Gaming, now live in 12 US states through partnerships with bet365 and FanDuel.

The company is actively pursuing opportunities in Central and Eastern Europe, Africa, and Asia, supported by robust distribution agreements across its product verticals.

Industry Leadership Welcomes Heynes

Paul Witten, Managing Director EMEA at SIS, expressed optimism about the appointment, stating:

“We are very pleased to welcome Harry to SIS. His commercial experience and proven business acumen will help to take our products further in new markets, as we continue to push the boundaries in terms of adding value to the sportsbooks of our partners.”

Heynes Looks Ahead to New Opportunities

Harry Heynes shared his enthusiasm for the role, emphasizing SIS’s comprehensive product offerings and its growth potential. He remarked:

“I am delighted to join SIS at such an exciting time for the company, as it continues to increase its influence around the world. Across racing, live numbers draws and event-based esports, the product mix is perfectly attuned to the needs of SIS partners.”

Heynes is set to represent SIS at ICE Barcelona later this month, where he aims to connect with new and existing partners.
