Heike Bode Appointed Managing Director of Sales at Merkur Group

adp Merkur GmbH has announced a strategic realignment of its management structure with the appointment of Heike Bode as the new Managing Director of Sales, effective immediately. This transition follows the decision of Dominik Raasch to step down from the sales leadership role, a position he held in a dual capacity.

A New Era for Sales Leadership

Heike Bode, a long-standing member of the Merkur Group, takes full responsibility for the sales and all sales-related divisions at adp Merkur GmbH. Bode brings with her a wealth of professional experience and a proven track record in leadership. Bode’s career with Merkur began in 1995 when she worked in national controlling.

Over time, she took on more responsibilities, becoming Head of Sales Controlling in 2003. Her path included roles as an Advisor to Sales Management and to the Management Board Member, Merkur Sales. In 2009, she assumed responsibility for Sales Administration. Most recently, she became the Managing Director of Finance for Merkur Freizeit Leasing GmbH in 2017. Since 2024, she has also led the newly established Business Transformation division.

Reflecting on her appointment, Heike Bode shared her enthusiasm for the future direction of adp Merkur GmbH.

“Over the past three decades, I’ve had the opportunity to take on a wide variety of challenges within the Merkur Group. I am deeply grateful for the continued trust placed in me through this new appointment. I look forward to helping shape the future of adp Merkur GmbH and to making a lasting contribution to its success. Together with my dedicated team, our focus will be on further strengthening our market presence both nationally and internationally, and on positioning the Merkur brand in new markets around the globe.”

Leadership Transition

Dominik Raasch, Management Board Member of Merkur Sales, praised her expertise:

“Heike Bode combines outstanding professional expertise with proven leadership skills, making her the ideal candidate to lead our sales operations. With her many years of service within the company, she brings a wealth of in-depth industry knowledge and valuable experience to the role. I am confident she will lead adp Merkur’s sales division toward an even more successful future, and I look forward to our continued collaboration.”

As part of the management shift, Dominik Raasch will also step down as the company’s Management Spokesperson. Jochen Clemens, the current Managing Director of Finance, will take over this responsibility. Clemens will continue in his role while also acting as the company spokesperson.
