Expansion into the UAE Market
The UAE’s federal GCGRA, the body responsible for regulating and supervising commercial gaming activities, granted licences to Hub88 and Live88. The approvals enable Hub88 to provide aggregation services and allow Live88 to deliver live casino solutions to licensed operators throughout the Emirates. This development expands both companies’ reach across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region and opens the door to one of the world’s fastest-evolving regulated markets.
Live88 is set to become the first online live casino studio licensed in the UAE, introducing locally regulated live gaming across seven Emirates, including Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The achievement highlights each brand’s focus on innovation, compliance and building technology designed for licensed jurisdictions.
Lara Falzon, CEO of Yolo’s B2B brands, said:
“Securing these licences represents a strong vote of confidence from the UAE’s regulatory body in our brands, our technology and our commitment to operating to the highest standards of integrity and innovation. This development reassures our clients and partners of our long-term vision to operate exclusively in regulated markets.”
Strengthening Regional Presence
Both Hub88 and Live88 will continue developing and testing new products at their R&D centre in Tallinn, Estonia. This location serves as a foundation for creating reliable, compliant technology before expanding further across the GCC. The companies plan to use their UAE operations as a launchpad for forming partnerships and collaborations across the wider Middle East, reinforcing their long-term growth strategy and dedication to regulated expansion.
