IGT Earns Perfect Score on 2025 Corporate Equality Index
International Game Technology (IGT) has once again achieved a perfect score of 100 on the 2025 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), reaffirming its commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace for LGBTQ+ employees.
Benchmarking Workplace Equality
The Corporate Equality Index, an initiative by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, evaluates U.S.-based companies on their policies and practices supporting LGBTQ+ workplace equality. The 2025 report assessed 1,449 organizations across four key areas: non-discrimination policies, equitable benefits, inclusive culture, and corporate social responsibility.
IGT’s sustained top score highlights its dedication to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives globally.
Policies Supporting LGBTQ+ Inclusion
IGT’s DEI initiatives include policies and programs designed to ensure an inclusive environment for LGBTQ+ employees. These efforts encompass:
- Inclusive Hiring: Leveraging LGBTQ+ job boards to diversify recruitment.
- Support Groups: Employee-led impact groups like “PRIDE with IGT” collaborate with DEI teams to shape policies.
- Comprehensive Training: Courses on unconscious bias, cultural awareness, and harassment prevention.
- Gender Support Policies: Guidelines for gender transitions and inclusive restroom and dress code policies.
- Pronoun Selection: Employees can share preferred pronouns to promote respect and inclusion.
Commitment to DEI Excellence
Brian Blake, Vice President of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at IGT, emphasized the importance of these initiatives:
“IGT once again achieving a top score in HRC Foundation’s 2025 CEI showcases our commitment to building a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace where LGBTQ+ employees can thrive and feel safe, supported and empowered.”
