Industry Veterans Tipped for Entain’s New CEO
With Gavin Isaacs stepping down as Entain’s interim CEO, speculation is mounting over who will take the helm of the global gaming giant. UK bookmaker Star Sports has published odds on potential successors.

Stella David Leads the Pack
Stella David, who has stepped in as Entain’s interim CEO for the second time, is currently the most likely candidate to secure the role permanently, with odds of 5/1. Her extensive experience with the company and previous interim leadership make her a strong contender.
Following closely at 6/1 is Andy Hicks, Entain’s Commercial Managing Director. Hicks has been with the company for over five years and previously held leadership positions at Coral and Ladbrokes Coral, both now part of Entain. His deep understanding of the business and commercial strategy could position him well for the top job.
Other Key Contenders
Entain’s CFO and Deputy CEO, Rob Wood, is also in the mix with odds of 7/1. His financial expertise and experience in managing the company’s strategic direction could make him a viable choice.
Beyond Entain’s internal leadership, Star Sports has included several other industry executives in its predictions. BetVictor CEO Andreas Meinrad shares 7/1 odds with Wood, while BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt is placed at 12/1.
Dark Horses in the Running
Other names in the race include former Entain CCO Dominic Grounsel and Betfred CEO Joanne Whittaker, both listed at 12/1.
Additionally, Betting and Gaming Council CEO Grainne Hurst has been given odds of 14/1, making her an outside but noteworthy candidate.
