Infront Joins International Betting Integrity Association
Infront has officially become an Associate Member of the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA), the world’s largest monitoring body for betting integrity, covering private operators. By joining IBIA, Infront aligns itself with over 50 companies and 125 major sports betting brands that are committed to maintaining fairness in betting activities.
Growing Betting Portfolio and Expanded Services
This collaboration comes as Infront continues to expand its betting portfolio and client base. From 2025, the company is expected to deliver more than 70,000 annual events to its growing global network.
This includes a data partnership with the International Tennis Federation (ITF), enhancing Infront’s capabilities in delivering low-latency data to bookmakers.
The expanded data delivery platform will play a crucial role in providing real-time, reliable information to bookmakers. Infront will also focus on developing its integrity services, which will serve over 40 rightsholders, ensuring the highest standards of fairness and transparency.
Key Stakeholder Insights
Chris Catling, Head of Infront Bettor, highlighted the benefits of joining IBIA: “By becoming part of this esteemed global network we gain valuable intelligence, enabling us to detect and address suspicious betting patterns swiftly and effectively.
“This partnership strengthens our compliance and offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with key stakeholders worldwide on policy development to help shape a safer, fairer and more sustainable future for the betting industry, he noted.
Khalid Ali, CEO of IBIA, expressed his enthusiasm for Infront’s membership: “I am delighted to welcome another major player in the sports betting ecosystem as a member of IBIA. Infront is a globally recognised organisation that will deliver a significant amount of tennis product to the betting industry from 2025.
“Infront and IBIA are committed to working together to ensure the highest levels of integrity for that product and to protecting all sports from betting-related corruption”, he highlighted.
Access to IBIA’s Global Monitoring Network
Through this membership, Infront gains access to IBIA’s comprehensive global monitoring network, which is designed to identify and report suspicious betting activities. The network tracks transactional activities linked to customer accounts, providing a crucial tool for detecting and addressing match-fixing and other forms of corruption.
IBIA works closely with regulators, sports organisations, and operators, promoting collaboration to protect the integrity of sports betting. Partnerships with major sports federations, including FIFA, UEFA, and the International Olympic Committee (IOC), enhance efforts to combat corruption within the industry.
As a not-for-profit organisation run by operators, IBIA focuses on safeguarding regulated sports betting markets from match-fixing. IBIA’s global monitoring network, which handles over $300 billion in betting turnover annually, has proven to be a highly effective anti-corruption tool. In its Q2 2023 report, IBIA detailed 90 alerts of suspicious activity, leading to investigations and sanctions against 21 clubs, players, and officials.
With this new partnership, Infront is set to contribute significantly to ensuring the integrity of the betting industry, particularly as it prepares to expand its data offerings in the years to come.
