InsaGames Expands Globally with Lightweight Mobile Titles
South African start-up InsaGames has launched globally with a suite of mobile-first, ultra-light games tailored for players in emerging markets. With a portfolio of 13 Instant Games and growing operator partnerships, the company aims to redefine mobile gaming in regions with limited bandwidth and costly data access.

Lightweight Solutions for Data-Conscious Players
Headquartered in Illovo, Johannesburg, InsaGames focuses on creating mobile gaming content optimised for low-data environments. Its games are up to three times lighter than the industry average, ensuring smooth performance even on basic smartphones.
Sanele Mopai, Head of Online at InsaGames, said:
“We saw a clear gap in the market for games designed around the specific realities of emerging regions. Our products are mobile-first, ultra-lite, and fully optimised for players in markets where bandwidth and device limitations are a daily reality. We’ve already seen 40% month-on-month growth in turnover across our live markets — a clear demonstration of the significant value we’re delivering to our partners.”
Broad Regional Rollout and Key Partnerships
Following a successful soft launch, InsaGames’ content is now live across 23 countries in Central and West Africa, as well as the Caribbean. Its recent deal with OdiBets Kenya signals its official expansion into East Africa, with further launches planned in Ethiopia, Tanzania, Uganda, eSwatini, Mozambique, and Lesotho.
Commenting on the partnership, Benedict Murithi, Head of Marketing at OdiBets, said:
“What impressed us most was the diversity of InsaGames’ portfolio and the intuitive, lightweight gameplay. Our priority is delivering seamless, high-quality entertainment to our players — and InsaGames has achieved exactly that.”
Built from the Ground Up for Local Relevance
InsaGames differentiates itself by creating games from scratch, rather than retrofitting existing content. Its studio enables operator co-development, supporting cultural nuance, local language, and player behaviour insights.
Looking ahead, the company will release new titles and launch integrated promotional tools — such as jackpots, free spins, and cash drops — specifically designed to operate within its low-data environment.
“Our localisation-first approach, backed by a skilled and experienced team, positions InsaGames as the partner of choice for operators looking to unlock new opportunities and drive growth in high-potential, underdeveloped markets,” the company said in a statement.
