Kindred Launches Sportsbook Platform in Estonia

Kindred Group has gone live with its Kindred Sportsbook Platform (KSP) in Estonia. The launch includes a native iOS app and the migration of Estonia’s operations to the Kindred Platform (KWP) which will give better performance and flexibility.

A New Way of Sports Betting

The launch in Estonia is part of Kindred’s strategy to have end to end control of its sportsbook products. By building in-house solutions Kindred will reduce its reliance on third party suppliers, simplify operations and better match products to market requirements.

KSP has features like profit boosts and promotions tied to local events like EuroBasket and exhibition tennis matches at Unibet Arena in Tallinn. This approach is to cater to local preferences and give customers a personal experience.

Advanced and Migration

The migration to KSP was a team effort. The Bet Builder tool was integrated and the migration was designed to cause minimal disruption to customers and focus on a smooth transition.

The decision to develop KSP in-house was driven by three key considerations:

  • Control: Enabling products to align more effectively with market requirements.
  • Security: Reducing reliance on external suppliers to enhance operational stability.
  • Efficiency: Creating a scalable platform designed to improve long-term margins.

This approach builds on the framework established by a previously developed in-house racing platform, with similar benefits anticipated for the sportsbook.
