Andrew Vouris is the Chief Executive Officer of Entain Australia and New Zealand. He was appointed permanently in August 2025 after serving as Interim CEO. Bio
Early Career in Finance
Vouris began his career in accountancy. He worked at Vouris & Bell Chartered Accountants and later as Senior Manager at Lawler Partners. The experience built his understanding of governance, financial management and commercial discipline.
Years at Tabcorp
In 2008, Vouris joined Tabcorp as General Manager of Luxbet, a newly launched Northern Territory-licensed bookmaker. He later became General Manager of Fixed Odds, then General Manager of Wagering, and finally Deputy COO of Wagering and Media.
At Tabcorp, he managed large-scale retail, digital and media operations. His responsibilities included overseeing the company’s response to AUSTRAC proceedings and engaging directly with the Northern Territory Racing and Wagering Commission.
Transition to Esports
In 2018, Vouris entered the esports sector as Chief Operating Officer at Unikrn. The company, backed by investors such as Mark Cuban, Ashton Kutcher and Elisabeth Murdoch, became known for integrating blockchain into betting products. Under his leadership, Unikrn achieved international recognition and expanded its operations across multiple markets.
When Entain acquired Unikrn in 2021, Vouris became COO of Entain Esports. He helped integrate the brand into Entain’s broader structure and guided the company’s approach to competitive gaming and new wagering formats.
Leadership at Entain ANZ
After leaving the esports division, Vouris co-founded 3 Kings Capital in 2024, an investment firm focused on gaming and entertainment ventures. The following year he returned to Entain as Interim CEO for Australia and New Zealand after the departure of Dean Shannon. His appointment came during a period of regulatory change and market competition.
Group CEO Stella David described him as “the right leader for Entain ANZ,” citing his commitment to people, partners and a compliance-led culture. In August 2025, he was confirmed as permanent CEO following a global selection process.
Vouris promotes a people-first strategy. He often says the priority order is people, then product, then profits. His leadership is defined by the principle of “win, but not at all costs.” He aims to strengthen Entain’s compliance culture while keeping the focus on core wagering operations and customer protection.
