Education and Early Career

Jesper Kärrbrink earned his degree in Business Administration from Örebro University. This academic foundation prepared him for a career driven by innovation and digital transformation. His early professional journey began as CEO of Östersunds-Posten (1993–1996), where he managed editorial and business operations during a time of major change in the print industry.

In the late 1990s, he joined the Bonnier Group. As CEO of Bonnier Veckotidningar & Bonnier Interaktiv, he led the group’s weekly magazines and digital business. His work focused on adapting to changing media consumption habits and shifting content delivery to online platforms.

Career History

After Bonnier, Kärrbrink moved into venture capital. From 2000 to 2004, he worked at Provider Venture Partners. There, he supported startups and growing tech companies in the digital media sector – an experience that proved valuable in his future roles.

In 2004, he became CEO of Svenska Spel, Sweden’s state-owned gambling operator. He focused on regaining market share lost to international competitors. His strategies included launching new gaming products and expanding Casino Cosmopol. He also prioritized responsible gambling. In 2008, he resigned due to strategic disagreements with the board.

Between 2008 and 2010, he led Eniro AB, a Nordic search and directory company. He shifted its business from print to digital and reduced company debt by billions of SEK. His leadership modernized Eniro’s operations and instilled a more competitive, digital-first culture.

In 2011, he joined Euroflorist. First as CEO, then as active vice chairman, he helped transform the company into a leading e-commerce player in flower delivery. During his time there, online sales grew by 30% annually and EBITDA doubled.

Return to iGaming

Kärrbrink returned to the gambling industry in 2016 as CEO of Mr Green Ltd. Over three years, he nearly doubled the company’s revenue and EBITDA. Mr Green earned 12 industry awards for excellence in product, marketing, and responsible gaming. He also managed the company’s acquisition by William Hill in 2019.

From 2019 to 2023, he served as chairman of Green Jade Games. This Malta-based studio developed hybrid casino games combining skill, video, and social elements. Their content, distributed through Relax Gaming, reached players in regulated markets. Kärrbrink supported the studio’s growth and innovation.

Since 2020, he has held multiple board and chairman roles. These include Internet Vikings, Infostat AB, Random State AB, MSAB, Oodash, and FUBUKI Boots. He provides strategic guidance to companies in technology, infrastructure, and software.

Board Leadership at Pariplay and Aspire Global

In March 2020, Jesper Kärrbrink was appointed Chairman of the Board at Pariplay, a leading casino game aggregator and content provider. This appointment followed Pariplay’s acquisition by Aspire Global in late 2019. His role involved close collaboration with the company’s leadership, focusing on strategy development, product innovation, and market positioning within the broader iGaming landscape.

Kärrbrink’s industry expertise, particularly in regulated markets and game portfolio management, has supported Pariplay’s evolution into a more competitive and globally present brand. Under his chairmanship, Pariplay strengthened its integration within Aspire Global’s infrastructure, leveraging shared technology and commercial networks to accelerate growth.

During his tenure, Pariplay also expanded into new markets, including the United States. Notably, it secured a deal with 888casino in November 2019 for game distribution in New Jersey. This marked an important milestone in the company’s North American ambitions and reinforced its status as a cross-jurisdictional provider of iGaming content.

Career at Immense Group

In December 2024, Jesper Kärrbrink became CEO of Immense Group AB, the rebranded Videoslots Group. The Stockholm-based company manages a multi-brand portfolio, including Videoslots, Mr Vegas, Kungaslottet, Mega Riches, and DBET.

His focus is on expanding the group’s reach and maintaining strong operations. He leads efforts to scale the business, strengthen compliance, and foster innovation. Kärrbrink brings decades of iGaming experience to this role, including senior positions at Mr Green and Svenska Spel.

Immense Group’s rebranding reflects a forward-looking strategy. The company aims to grow through consumer-focused platforms and diversify its offerings while keeping a sharp focus on quality.
