Lois Bright hails from the United Kingdom and holds a degree from the University of Warwick. Her academic foundation laid the groundwork for a career centered on talent acquisition, entrepreneurship, and industry specialization.
Since relocating to Africa in 2008, Lois has immersed herself in the business and talent landscapes of both Africa and the Middle East, becoming a pivotal figure in the recruitment sector for iGaming and Fintech.
Career History
Lois started her career at Barclays Capital in 2004 as a Corporate Services Analyst. This role gave her a foundation in the financial industry. She then joined Harvey-Smith Recruitment, focusing on real estate and construction placements in the UK.
Her career took a major turn in 2012 when she co-founded Initiate International. The firm specialized in recruitment for iGaming and Fintech sectors across Africa. Lois led its growth into key markets like Cape Town and Johannesburg. In 2023, Initiate International joined The Conexus Group, expanding its global reach.
She also founded and directed several niche recruitment ventures. These include Language Recruiters, which provides multilingual talent, and Initiate Immigration, an immigration consultancy she sold in 2015. She continued using the brand to support lead generation.
In 2017, she launched Recruit4Languages, based in Prague. The company operates across three continents and recruits in 16 languages. In 2022, Lois created ZeroHero Recruiter, an eLearning platform. It trains newcomers to become freelance recruiters, promoting remote work and flexibility.
