Education
Yoder’s educational background reflects a global and analytical approach that later shaped his career in technology and gaming. He earned a BA in German and International Business from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, which exposed him early to cross-cultural business environments. He then completed an MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, complemented by studies at Fundação Getulio Vargas, where he focused on Marketing and Finance.
This combination gave him a strong command of strategic planning, financial modeling, and international market structures. His academic path also enhanced his ability to navigate the complex regulatory and economic frameworks that define modern iGaming.
Career Path
Across more than three decades in technology and over 16 years specifically in gaming, Yoder has held leadership roles in both emerging and established companies. His early work at Oblix, Agile Software, Kalypso, and Veeker allowed him to develop expertise in enterprise technology and digital transformation.
He later transitioned into gaming, taking senior roles at GAN, Gamblit Gaming, IGT, and GTECH, where he shaped product strategies and operational growth. In March 2022 he joined Playtech as Chief Commercial Officer, becoming responsible for U.S. commercial strategy and multi-state market development. His work now includes building strategic partnerships with operators, state regulators, and platform providers.
