Martin Stålros at Relax Gaming

Martin Stålros joined Relax Gaming in 2015 as Chief Operating Officer. At that time, the company was still a challenger in the market. He helped build a solid foundation, guiding its growth from a small team of 30 people to over 350 employees worldwide. In April 2024, he stepped into the CEO role, following the departure of Simon Hammon.

His promotion was a logical step. Stålros had already shaped much of the company’s structure, culture, and strategy. Now, as CEO, he leads Relax Gaming’s push into new territories and product verticals.

Career Before Relax Gaming

Before joining Relax Gaming, Martin Stålros held senior roles at major operators. He worked at Kindred Group (Unibet), where he was Business Development Manager and then Head of Poker Operations. There, he focused on product growth, player engagement, and market entry strategies.

Earlier, he spent time at Ladbrokes eGaming. As a Marketing Executive and later Customer Development Manager for Poker, he built experience in customer retention, digital campaigns, and product optimization. These roles gave him a clear understanding of what operators need from their suppliers.

Martin Stålros leads Relax Gaming with a clear goal: expand responsibly and deliver world-class content. He is guiding the company into new regulated markets, including North America, where Relax now operates under the RLX Gaming brand.

He emphasizes long-term partnerships, agile development, and robust technology. His leadership supports in-house studios, drives aggregator innovation, and strengthens regulatory compliance. Stålros believes in scaling without losing focus on product quality and user experience.

Education and Personal Approach

Martin Stålros studied marketing at the Berghs School of Communication in Stockholm. His background in branding and communications influences his leadership style. He values direct communication, quick decision-making, and team alignment.
