Bio

Professional Background in iGaming

Before taking over as CEO of Delasport, Oren Cohen Shwartz worked in several key roles across the iGaming sector, gaining experience in both product development and operations. At William Hill, he was involved in digital projects aimed at improving platform efficiency and regulatory readiness. He later joined EveryMatrix as VP of Product and Corporate Development, where he helped shape modular systems for multi-market use.

At Superbet, he led gaming strategy across different jurisdictions, with a focus on supplier integration and product optimization. As Managing Director at Skywind Group, he was responsible for market entry and compliance adaptation, overseeing the rollout of content portfolios in regulated environments.

CEO Role and Product Strategy at Delasport

Shwartz became CEO of Delasport in 2021. At the time, the company had a solid technical foundation but limited product differentiation. One of his first priorities was to define a clearer identity through feature development.

This led to the launch of the “My Era” suite—customization tools designed to give sportsbook users more control over their experience. Products like My Sportsbook, My Event Builder, and If Bet became central to the platform’s engagement model.

In the casino segment, he oversaw the development of the Cross-Providers Jackpot, which allows operators to run pooled jackpots across games from multiple providers. This helped Delasport offer more flexible promotional options without being tied to a single content source.

Under Shwartz’s leadership, Delasport has prioritized expansion into licensed and regulated markets such as Romania, Denmark, and Mexico. Rather than pursuing short-term growth in loosely regulated environments, the company has focused on jurisdictions that offer long-term stability and predictable compliance frameworks.

Internally, Delasport has adopted a structure where compliance, product, and delivery teams work in parallel. This approach enables faster rollout times while reducing the risk of regulatory issues. It also reflects Shwartz’s experience in aligning commercial goals with local legal requirements.

International Experience and Management Approach

Shwartz holds a degree in International Relations from the University of Haifa. His academic background, combined with years of work in multi-market environments, has shaped a leadership style focused on adaptability.

He promotes cross-functional collaboration within the company, encouraging teams to understand not only their domain but also the regulatory and client context. Product teams regularly interact with legal, UX, and customer success units—ensuring that platform updates are aligned with market expectations and operational constraints.
