Previous Executive Roles Before Joining Superbet
Before joining Superbet, Thorpe served as Chief People Officer at AVIV Group, a subsidiary of Axel Springer that manages a portfolio of digital real estate brands across Europe. Her responsibilities included post-merger integration, succession planning, and aligning HR strategy across decentralised teams.
She also brings experience from the betting industry, having previously held the role of Chief HR Officer at Paddy Power plc, where she modernised people policies in the fast-paced environment of a leading sports betting operator.
Earlier in her career, she held senior HR roles at Citi and Microsoft, leading regional and international teams across London, New York and other major markets. She later became Corporate Development Director at Cairn Homes, Ireland’s largest listed housebuilder, and also spent several years as Senior Client Partner at Korn Ferry, advising global clients on talent strategy and organisational transformation.
