Bio
Early Career
Corcoran’s leadership trajectory began in the tech sector, where he served as CEO of XSellco, a Dublin-based SaaS company providing e-commerce support tools. From 2015 to 2017, he led the business through a phase of rapid expansion, overseeing product development and entry into new international markets. His time at XSellco helped solidify his credentials in scaling consumer-facing technology platforms.
Following XSellco, Corcoran moved into the betting industry, taking the helm of Paddy Power Online, part of Flutter Entertainment. As CEO from 2018 to 2022, he played a pivotal role in the integration of Paddy Power’s sportsbook with Betfair’s platform, managing digital operations and driving growth in the online betting space. His leadership contributed to operational efficiency and strengthened Paddy Power’s competitive position in the UK and Ireland.
Work at Fortuna
From September 2022 to January 2025, Corcoran served as CEO of Fortuna Entertainment Group (FEG), a major betting and gaming operator in Central and Eastern Europe. His leadership coincided with a pivotal phase of Fortuna’s evolution, during which the company consolidated its presence across the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, and Croatia. Corcoran leveraged the brand’s retail reach and reinforced its digital transformation strategy by investing in technology and product innovation.
Notably, he oversaw the establishment of key partnerships with suppliers such as Playtech, Pragmatic Play, ESA Gaming, and Evoplay. These agreements strengthened Fortuna’s content offering, particularly in the Czech market, and aligned with the company’s omni-channel vision that integrates online and retail betting experiences.
Stepping Down
Corcoran stepped down in January 2025, handing over leadership to Dieter John.
