Early Life and Education
Born on January 10, 1975, in Jermuk, Armenia, Badalyan pursued higher education at the Armenian State University of Economics, earning a Bachelor’s degree in International Business between 1991 and 1995.
Entrepreneurial Ventures
Vigen Badalyan’s entrepreneurial journey is marked by the establishment of several notable ventures across various industries. In 1994, he founded Fast Credit Capital UCO CJSC, a financial institution providing credit services. By 2003, he expanded into the gaming sector with the creation of Vivaro Betting LTD, which laid the foundation for VBET and BetConstruct, both established in the same year. BetConstruct has since evolved into a leading provider of online and land-based gaming solutions. In 2010, Badalyan co-founded SoftConstruct, an umbrella company encompassing various technology-focused brands. Demonstrating foresight into digital transformation, he launched Fastex in 2017, a cryptocurrency derivatives exchange platform. His portfolio also includes ventures such as Hoory, Ucraft, PandaMR, and FeedConstruct, reflecting his diverse interests and innovative approach to business.
Leadership at BetConstruct
In November 2017, Badalyan expanded his leadership role at BetConstruct by assuming the duties of Chief Executive Officer, following the departure of Vahe Baloulian. Under his guidance, BetConstruct has grown into a global entity, operating development, sales, and service centers in 14 countries, and offering a diverse range of gaming solutions.
Beyond his business endeavors, Badalyan serves as the Honorary Consul of Colombia in the Republic of Armenia, a position he has held since 2020.
