Background and Commercial Leadership

Vladimir Malakchi began his career in performance marketing and digital product development, working with early-stage tech businesses where rapid execution and market validation were crucial. This experience fostered his focus on scalable models and measurable outcomes.

He joined Evoplay in 2019 as CCO, where his primary responsibility was international growth. Under his direction, the company expanded into regulated markets across Europe and Latin America and developed key B2B partnerships, enhancing its commercial positioning.

Malakchi also contributed to aligning product design with market demand and improving internal processes to support faster partner onboarding and time-to-market for new titles.

Founding Xanada Investments

After leaving Evoplay, Malakchi founded Xanada Investments in Cyprus in 2024. The firm supports startups in the gaming, fintech, and AI sectors by combining capital with operational infrastructure.

Xanada positions itself differently from traditional venture capital funds by providing services such as regulatory guidance, product strategy, backend integration, and long-term planning. The fund targets experienced teams with a working product model, offering comprehensive support in infrastructure, hiring, product rollout, and B2B development.

In 2025, Xanada organized a startup contest that received nearly 250 applicants. The selection process emphasized execution, technical readiness, legal structure, and commercial strategy. The contest winner was FTDx, chosen for its experienced team and proven ability to scale across multiple markets.

Xanada operates a selective investment strategy, focusing on a few high-involvement projects rather than broad diversification. Each portfolio company receives tailored support, and Malakchi evaluates startups based on readiness, regulatory clarity, and operational resilience.

Industry Recognition and Public Engagement

In 2025, Vladimir Malakchi was named CEE & Baltic Leader of the Year, Speaker of the Year, and Influencer of the Year. He also received the CEE iGaming Leader of the Year award at the GamingTech CEE Awards. Regularly appears as a speaker at events such as iGB Live, SiGMA, and SBC Summit.
