Lachlan Fitt Reflects on His Tenure
Fitt, who has over a decade of experience in international wagering, said the decision to leave came at the right time.
“I am proud of the transformation of Entain’s wagering and media business in New Zealand – there is still more to do, but it is in great shape,”
– Fitt said. While he has not yet announced his next move, he hinted at opportunities within racing and bloodstock.
Recent Leadership Shifts at Entain
The exits of Fitt and Rodger follow another notable departure—Andy Hoad, General Manager of Group Content & Broadcast, who is joining Racing Victoria as Executive General Manager of Media, Content, and Marketing.
In addition to leadership changes, Entain Australia recently announced the closure of its Ladbrokes Racing Club (LRC), citing rising product fees, taxes, and operational costs in the Australian racing industry as the key reasons behind the decision.
