LeoVegas Opens New Leeds Office to Support UK Expansion

LeoVegas Group, a Swedish iGaming operator owned by MGM Resorts since 2022, is expanding its presence in the United Kingdom by opening a second office in Leeds. The new site will support the company’s strategic push to grow the BetMGM and LeoVegas brands in one of Europe’s most competitive gambling markets.

Second Office Will Complement Newcastle Headquarters

LeoVegas Group’s new office will be located in Tailor’s Corner, a refurbished seven-storey building in central Leeds. The operator is redeveloping the entire ground and lower ground floors, totalling 5,000 square feet (more than 400 square metres). The company has confirmed that the Newcastle office, opened in 2018, will remain the primary UK base, with Leeds functioning as a complementary site.

According to Gethin Evans, Managing Director UK and Ireland at LeoVegas Group, the expansion is designed to support brand growth through local recruitment and increased operational flexibility.

“We’re looking forward to moving into our new Leeds office shortly. It’s an important step towards our key goal to continue building the strength of our hero brands in the UK, BetMGM and LeoVegas, by attracting top talent. Leeds will support our main office in Newcastle, which will continue to remain the UK heart of LeoVegas Group,” Evans said.

Hiring Underway for Key Strategic Roles

LeoVegas has already launched recruitment efforts for the new site. Positions currently open include UK Sports Director, Senior Finance Business Partner, and Legal Counsel.

The company also pointed to Leeds’ growing importance as a digital hub, particularly for the iGaming and sports betting industries. Several industry players have established operations in the city in recent years, drawn by its concentration of tech talent and competitive business environment.
