Light & Wonder Invests in Bang Bang Games to Accelerate Global Growth

Light & Wonder has acquired a 20% stake in Bang Bang Games, strengthening its strategic commitment to supporting emerging slot studios. The deal comes as Bang Bang continues expanding from its UK and European roots into the North American market through Light & Wonder’s distribution network.

Strategic Investment to Support Studio Growth

The equity investment is part of Light & Wonder’s broader effort to nurture innovative content providers within its ecosystem. Known for its unique slot mechanics and creative design, Bang Bang Games has built a strong following in Europe and is now scaling operations globally.

Stuart Banks, Managing Director of Global Partnerships at Light & Wonder, commented:

“We’re incredibly pleased to welcome Bang Bang as a partner. They’re a talented team with a proven track record and an exciting and engaging vision. This investment is a great example of how we support studios through the Light & Wonder™ Spark program – helping them grow, scale, and succeed on a global stage.”

Through this partnership, Light & Wonder provides more than just distribution. It offers hands-on support, access to key markets, and strategic tools via its Spark program.

Spark Program Driving Expansion

Bang Bang Games has been part of the Light & Wonder Spark program, which aims to empower studios by giving them the resources to grow and reach new audiences. The program facilitates close collaboration between Light & Wonder and partner studios while opening doors to international distribution.

Bang Bang’s CEO, Frank McPolin, welcomed the investment as a major step forward:

“We’re incredibly proud to take this next step in our journey with Light & Wonder. Being part of the Light & Wonder™ Spark program has already opened up fantastic opportunities for us, and this investment is a strong endorsement of the work we’re doing. With Light & Wonder’s support, we’re in a great position to build on that momentum, grow our reach, and deliver even more bold, creative content to players globally.”
