Malta Gaming Authority Revokes Goldwin Limited’s License
The Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) has revoked Goldwin Limited’s gaming license, effective March 13, 2025. The regulator had suspended the company’s license on September 25, 2024, citing multiple regulatory violations. Goldwin failed to meet player obligations and operational commitments, leading to this final decision.

Reasons for License Revocation
Goldwin Limited, operating under license number MGA/B2C/533/2018, violated the Gaming Compliance and Enforcement Regulations.
The MGA found that the company’s actions posed a direct risk to players. Delays in fulfilling financial obligations and protecting users contributed to the revocation.
Player Notification and Fund Withdrawals
Goldwin Limited must inform all players about the cancellation. The company must send notifications via email and publish an official notice on its website for at least 30 days.
Players will receive instructions on withdrawing funds through the MGA’s ticketing system.
Financial and Compliance Requirements
Goldwin must pay all outstanding fees within five working days of the revocation.
Additionally, the company must remove any references to the MGA and its gaming license, as required by Article 51 of the Gaming Act (Chapter 583 of the Laws of Malta).
Appeal Process
Goldwin Limited has the right to appeal under Article 43 (1) of the Gaming Act. If the appeal fails, the company will no longer operate under MGA’s jurisdiction.
The decision reinforces the MGA’s commitment to strict regulatory enforcement and player protection.
