Paddy Power’s Bigger 180 Campaign Tops £1m for Prostate Cancer UK

Paddy Power’s Bigger 180 campaign has smashed through the £1 million mark, raising crucial funds for Prostate Cancer UK during the World Darts Championship.

£1,000 for Every 180, £60,000 for a Nine-Darter

The campaign pledges £1,000 for each 180 scored and a substantial £60,000 for every nine-dart finish achieved during PDC World Darts Championship.

The campaign reached its £1 million milestone following two perfect legs recorded during the tournament. Nine- darter by Damon Heta and Christian Kist triggered a £180,000 bonus, which was split between the charity, the player and a lucky fan at Alexandra Palace.

This year’s effort builds on Paddy Power’s previous Big 180 campaign, which raised £1m in 2023, including a donation match to round up the total. Today’s final between Michael van Gerwen and Luke Littler is expected to further increase the total raised.

Supporting Prostate Cancer UK’s Transform Trial

The Bigger 180 campaign aims to not only raise funds but also to increase awareness about prostate cancer screenings through Prostate Cancer UK’s Transform Trial research programme.

The campaign also benefits from the support of six-time Olympic cycling champion Chris Hoy, who joined as an ambassador in December 2024. Hoy, diagnosed with stage-four prostate cancer last year, advocates for early detection and the use of Prostate Cancer UK’s 30-second risk checker.

The campaign’s broader goal is to encourage 180,000 men to use the risk checker while raising awareness of prostate cancer symptoms and screening options.
