PAGCOR Leadership Resigns to Allow Presidential Reorganization
The leadership of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) has voluntarily resigned ahead of a government-wide call for resignations among state-run institutions.

Top PAGCOR Executives Step Down
PAGCOR Chairman and CEO Alejandro H. Tengco announced that he and all members of the agency’s Board of Directors have submitted their courtesy resignations, offering President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. full discretion in reorganizing the government-owned corporation.
The resignations were submitted last week, days before Malacañang formally requested all officials of government-owned or controlled corporations (GOCCs) to submit their resignations on Wednesday.
“We serve at the pleasure of the President. And we will accept whatever the Chief Executive’s decision will be”, Tengco stated.
The group resignation includes PAGCOR President and COO Wilma Eisma, as well as Directors Jose Maria Ortega, Francis Democrito Concordia, and Gilbert Cesar Remulla. The move clears the way for the administration to implement potential leadership changes within the gaming regulatory body.
