Pagcor Warns Against Fraudulent Website Impersonating Regulator
The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (Pagcor) has issued a warning regarding a fraudulent website impersonating the country’s gaming regulator. The website, which misuses Pagcor’s name and logos, falsely claims to offer gaming licenses and accreditations.

Fraudulent Website Misuses Pagcor Branding
Pagcor alerted the public on Monday about the deceptive site, “www.pagcorphilippines.com,” which has been online since February 22.
The regulator noted that the site contains incorrect spelling and unauthorized use of its official branding.
Despite appearing legitimate, it is unrelated to Pagcor and poses a risk to those who engage with it.
Pagcor Urges Public Caution
Alejandro Tengco, chairman and CEO of Pagcor, urged people to avoid any interactions with the fake website. “We urge the public not to download anything or transact through the said fake website that uses the domain name www.pagcorphilippines.com because it is definitely not from Pagcor and all its contents are spurious,” he stated in an official release.
Official Investigation Underway
Pagcor has formally reported the fraudulent activity to the Department of Information and Communications Technology.
Authorities are working to trace those responsible. “We are also working to identify the persons behind this fraud and we shall go after them with the full force and extent of the law,” Tengco confirmed.
Public Advised to Use Official Website
To avoid scams, Pagcor reminded users that its official website is www.pagcor.ph. The fraudulent site even displayed falsified accreditation forms with a forged signature of Tengco, adding to the deception.
Pagcor continues to monitor the situation and advises the public to verify all transactions through official channels.
