Phil Pearson Resigns as CEO of White Label Casinos

Phil Pearson has officially resigned as CEO of White Label Casinos, ending a tenure that began with the company’s launch in early 2023. His departure marks a significant leadership shift for the B2B iGaming supplier, which was formed following a split from iGaming Group.

Pearson Led White Label Casinos Since Its 2023 Launch

Pearson’s journey with White Label Casinos began in February 2023, when the firm spun off from iGaming Group, where he had held multiple senior roles. Before taking the reins as CEO, he served as Chief Operating Officer at iGaming Group, following an earlier stint as Head of Sales and Account Management.

Reflecting on his professional path in a public announcement on LinkedIn, Pearson recalled his early days in the industry:

“In 2017 I started as Head of Sales and AM, way over my head, and spent the next year working every hour in the calendar to try and learn as much as possible. Then realised it wasn’t enough and noticed this industry changes faster than you learn it.”

During his leadership, Pearson aimed to shape White Label Casinos around core values he believed were too often neglected in the industry. He emphasized inclusion, internal advancement, and transparency as foundational principles of the company’s culture.

“Unlike so many companies I tried to promote the ethos of inclusion, internal promotion, knowledge sharing and growth, from the first day to my last,” he wrote.

While he acknowledged milestones such as hitting gross gaming revenue (GGR) targets and a legal victory against the Swedish regulator, Pearson emphasized that his most meaningful moments were rooted in relationships and team development.

What Comes Next

Pearson did not disclose what his next move will be, only stating that he intends to take a sabbatical in the coming months.

“What am I going to do now? I’m going to watch cricket for 3 months. After 9 non stop years (other than 2 weeks in Mexican hospital) it’s time for a break. I’ll do some light help on the sides for a couple of people who asked, but nothing serious. Then I’ll weight up some options.”

He humorously added that he’s toying with the idea of stepping away from iGaming entirely in favor of a more low-key lifestyle:

“It sounds weird, but a small part of me wants to just own an animal sanctuary or a sandwich shop. Or both. Just with very defined food safety guidelines.”

Closing his message with a reflection on team dynamics, Pearson wrote:

“I used to say it’s not a family, it’s a well functioning sports team. I was wrong. It is a family. But not one you’re forced to love. One you choose to and you can’t help not.”

White Label Casinos has yet to announce a successor.
