Platipus celebrates 10th anniversary with themed €100,000 tournament
Game developer Platipus is marking its 10th year in the industry by launching a €100,000 online tournament, split into four themed stages. The event is designed to showcase the company’s diverse portfolio and reward players through a multiplier-based scoring format.

Four stages, four themes
The anniversary tournament begins on March 31 and runs through May 7. Each of the four stages features a distinct theme tied to key game collections:
- Egyptian stage (March 31–April 7): Titles include Book of Egypt and Pharaoh’s Empire.
- Oriental stage (April 9–16): Players can try games like Caishen’s Gifts and 9 Dragon Kings.
- Caribbean stage (April 21–28): The focus shifts to Pirate’s Legacy and Hook the Cash.
- Las Vegas stage (April 30–May 7): This final leg includes Mission: Vegas and Urban Neon.
Each stage offers a €25,000 prize pool and highlights different cultural and stylistic inspirations within Platipus’ game catalogue.
Focus on strategy, not just wins
Unlike traditional tournaments, Platipus uses a multiplier-based format. This method ranks players based on the highest win-to-bet ratio, not the size of a single win. Scores accumulate over multiple spins, rewarding consistent strategic play over time.
Players aiming for the top positions will need to build high multipliers across each stage. The approach encourages careful betting and planning, giving an edge to those who play with long-term strategy in mind.
Exclusive to Softswiss clients
The event is available exclusively through Softswiss-integrated casinos. Maksym Kozlov, Head of Account Management at Platipus, commented:
“Platipus is thrilled to partner with Softswiss to bring gamers this exclusive online championship, available for Softswiss clients online.
