Rank Group Reports Strong Growth Across All Segments in H1 2024/25
Rank Group Plc has reported a increase in revenue and profitability for the six months ending December 31, 2024. The company recorded a 13% rise in like-for-like net gaming revenue (NGR) to £401.8 million. Operating profit surged by 55%, and the company is positioning itself to capitalize on upcoming legislative changes in the UK’s gambling sector.

Revenue Growth and Profitability Surge
Rank Group’s financial performance in H1 2024/25 exceeded expectations, with like-for-like NGR increasing by 13% year-on-year. Digital operations recorded a 14% growth, while Grosvenor venues saw a 15% increase, bringing their total NGR to £192.8 million. Mecca venues and Enracha also posted steady gains of 6% and 7%, respectively.
The company’s underlying operating profit grew by 55% to £32.9 million, a sharp rise from £21.2 million in H1 2023/24. Statutory operating profit reached £40.2 million, marking a 148% increase from the previous year. Additionally, profit before taxation soared by 234% to £34.7 million.
