Sportradar Secures Extended Partnership with UEFA

Sportradar has announced a significant extension of its exclusive betting data rights partnership with the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). This multi-year agreement not only renews but also expands the scope of Sportradar’s existing rights.

Comprehensive Coverage of UEFA Competitions

The sports data specialist will now hold non-exclusive rights to distribute data to non-betting media outlets and gain access to advanced tracking technologies. This development is poised to enhance Sportradar’s AI-powered products and services, providing innovative solutions to its clients.

The extended agreement encompasses all major UEFA Club and National team competitions. This includes high-profile events such as the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Women’s Champions League, and the European Qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and UEFA EURO 2028.

Additional competitions covered are the UEFA Super Cup, UEFA Conference League, UEFA Women’s EURO 2025, UEFA Nations League, UEFA European Under-21 Championships, and UEFA international friendly matches.

With this expanded portfolio, Sportradar will offer data coverage for over 900 matches each season, reflecting a 33% increase from the previous cycle.

Strengthened Integrity Partnership

In addition to the data rights extension, Sportradar has also renewed its long-standing integrity partnership with UEFA.

This collaboration, which has spanned 15 years, will continue to focus on safeguarding the integrity of UEFA competitions.

Sportradar will support UEFA’s Anti-Match-Fixing Unit by providing specialized intelligence, investigative resources, and enhanced monitoring and educational services.

Statements from Key Figures

Guy-Laurent Epstein, UEFA’s marketing director, emphasized the value of the renewed partnership with Sportradar.

He highlighted the company’s expertise and the importance of continuing their cooperative efforts to protect the integrity of UEFA’s competitions. Epstein remarked, “As part of the agreement, we will also be continuing our long-standing cooperation to protect the integrity of UEFA and our member associations’ competitions.”

Sportradar’s CEO, Carsten Koerl, expressed his enthusiasm for the expanded agreement. He noted that the partnership will enable Sportradar to deliver unparalleled engagement and value through advanced solutions and comprehensive data coverage.

Koerl stated, “This agreement supports our strategic focus on selectively investing in long-term rights across key global sports, enabling ongoing innovation and enhancement of our offerings.”
