Swedish Regulator Gives Green Light to Three Operators
Sweden’s regulator Spelinspektionen has completed an investigation of three operators – Paf International plc, Burstit Ltd and LeoEx Ltd. The investigation, carried out during summer 2024, has found all three to be in full compliance.

Successful Investigation of Paf, Burstit, and LeoEx
As per Swedish law all operators must undergo yearly testing, control and certification of their systems. Paf, Burstit and LeoEx have passed their gaming, technical and business system audits and can continue to operate in Sweden without any issues.
For Paf International this is the outcome of a good year 2023. The company reported a 7% revenue increase, reaching €177.1m ($191.7m), which also resulted in record profits. Paf has also expanded its international footprint by launching a joint venture with Yggdrasil for the SpeedyBet brand in Spain in late September.
Regulatory Action Against Unlicensed Operators
Earlier this year Spelinspektionen banned four operators—Itsfail Ltd, Teamfail Limited, NewEra BV and Jer-Team NV—from operating in Sweden for not having the necessary licenses. This shows that the regulator is keeping a strict and regulated market.
