UAE Lottery Operator Partners with Napier AI to Boost Financial Crime Controls

The Game LLC, operator of the United Arab Emirates’ first federally licensed lottery, has implemented Napier AI’s client screening technology to strengthen anti-financial crime measures and improve regulatory compliance across its gaming operations.

Strengthening Compliance Across the UAE Lottery

The Game LLC partnered with London-based RegTech provider Napier AI following a strategic review of its compliance systems. The company has deployed Napier AI Client Screening, a solution that performs advanced checks for politically exposed persons (PEPs), sanctions, and adverse media during customer onboarding. The move is designed to ensure that no high-risk individuals or entities gain access to lottery services.

By integrating this technology, The Game reinforces its commitment to responsible gaming and operational transparency. The initiative aligns with the UAE’s growing emphasis on compliance and integrity within its developing gaming and fintech sectors.

Fast Integration and Early Impact

Napier AI’s system was rolled out in under 11 weeks, demonstrating the company’s ability to deliver complex compliance solutions quickly. Early results show a reduction in false positives, enabling The Game’s compliance team to prioritize genuine alerts and streamline day-to-day monitoring.

“The Game LLC is building a forward-looking gaming ecosystem, enabling community engagement across the UAE and we’re proud to support them with technology that enhances both compliance and customer confidence. Delivering measurable improvements, notably those in the reduction of false positives, demonstrates the power of AI driven solutions to meet evolving regulatory requirements while enabling innovation at scale,” said Greg Watson, CEO of Napier AI.

The collaboration highlights how advanced AI tools are helping operators in the Middle East meet international compliance standards while supporting sustainable industry growth.
