Extensive Live Coverage on VeikkausTV
Veikkaus has officially become a league partner of the NHL through a new agreement designed to increase Finnish fans’ access to games from the United States and Canada. The partnership focuses on delivering a wide range of NHL content, allowing fans in Finland to follow their favorite teams and players more closely.
As part of the deal, VeikkausTV will broadcast over 700 NHL games live throughout both the regular season and playoffs.
In a statement, Veikkaus highlighted, “NHL games are shown on VeikkausTV during both the regular season and playoffs.” This extensive coverage offers Finnish hockey enthusiasts the opportunity to experience the world’s premier hockey league from the comfort of their homes.
Strengthening the NHL’s Connection with Finland
Tuomo Torkkola, Veikkaus Head of Communications, commented: “The NHL is the second most played league in Veikkaus Sportsbook after the Finnish League. There is wide demand for our NHL content, and it’s great that we can offer it to Finns interested in the series during the 2024 through 2026 seasons.”
Joseph Stravato, NHL Director of Business Development, echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the shared commitment to Finnish fans. “We are excited to continue our cooperation with Veikkaus,” Stravato said. He pointed out that the partnership comes just in time for the Tampere Global Series games, where Finnish NHL stars will play for their home crowd.
