Wazdan has obtained a license from Denmark’s gambling authority, Spillemyndigheden, allowing the company to offer its extensive game portfolio to Danish operators and continue its growth in regulated markets.

Danish License Opens New Opportunities

With the Danish license now in hand, Wazdan is set to introduce its diverse portfolio of games to a new audience. A spokesperson for the company commented on this achievement:

“Wazdan puts great emphasis on cooperating with the largest casino licensors to provide secure, transparent, and rewarding partnerships with operators from all over the world. We’re proud to announce that our games are now fully licensed by Spillemyndigheden, bringing the true value of online gaming to Denmark.”

Building a Strong Presence in Regulated Markets

This licensing follows a series of strategic moves by Wazdan in 2024 to strengthen its position in regulated markets.

In September, the company entered Pennsylvania through a partnership with Rush Street Interactive (RSI).

This collaboration brought titles such as 9 Coins Grand Gold Edition, Magic Spins, and Hot Slot: 777 Crown to RSI’s platforms BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse.

Earlier in the year, Wazdan expanded into Italy via a partnership with CasinoMania, introducing over 40 slot games to the Italian market.
