Zach Amin joins Midnite to lead sportsbook operations amid UK expansion

Midnite, a UK-based sportsbook and casino operator, has named Zach Amin as its new Vice-President of Sportsbook.

Amin brings deep trading expertise

Zach Amin joined Sky Betting & Gaming in 2013 as a football trader. Over time, he moved into roles in risk and football operations. Eventually, he led the pre-match football team and contributed to commercial and product strategies. After Flutter acquired Sky Bet in 2020, Amin became Head of Trading.

“I’m delighted to join Midnite at what is such a pivotal movement in our growth journey. Midnite is perfectly positioned to challenge the tier-1 operators in the UK and I’m looking forward to playing a key role as we take betting into a new era” , Zach Amin said.

New hire supports Midnite’s strategy

Midnite recently launched its first TV campaign. At the same time, it announced a partnership with the 2025 World Snooker Championship. Both moves reflect a clear push to raise brand awareness and reach a wider audience.

To support these efforts, Midnite continues building a strong leadership team. The company sees Amin’s appointment as a critical step in this process.

Founders focus on product and audience

Nick Wright and Daniel Qu founded Midnite in 2018. Earlier, they had created the fantasy sports platform Dribble, in partnership with Sky Bet. With Midnite, they aim to offer a modern sportsbook and casino experience. Their focus remains on user-friendly design and a product tailored to younger players.

Commenting on Amin’s arrival, Wright said:

“We’re thrilled to welcome someone of Zach’s calibre to the Midnite team and he will play an integral role in our goal of becoming the most exciting betting app on earth.”
