Entain has announced the immediate appointment of Helen Ashton as an Independent Non-Executive Director. This strategic addition to the board aims to bolster the company’s governance and support its ongoing strategic objectives.

Helen Ashton’s Extensive Experience

Helen Ashton brings over three decades of experience in both public and private equity-backed businesses. A qualified Chartered Management Accountant, her career includes significant roles such as CFO of ASOS plc, as well as executive positions at ASDA, Barclays, and Lloyds Banking Group. Her expertise spans high-growth digital and retail businesses, making her a valuable asset to Entain’s board.

Current Roles and New Responsibilities

Currently, Ashton serves as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee at JD Sports Fashion plc. With her new role at Entain, she will join the Audit Committee, leveraging her extensive knowledge in global business and financial services to further Entain’s strategic goals.
