Digitain strengthens senior executive leadership team with new Deputy CEO

Digitain, the Armenia-based B2B supplier and leader in the iGaming industry, has announced the appointment of Martin Martirosyan to its senior executive leadership team.

Martirosyan brings a wealth of experience from various sectors and will assume the role of Deputy CEO within the Digitain Group, which is headed by Founder Vardges Vardanyan.

Martirosyan’s appointment comes at a strategic time for Digitain as the company aims to strengthen its position in various markets. The recent opening of a new office in Bucharest, Romania, serves as a foundation for its European expansion. Martirosyan’s arrival marks the fourth major senior appointment by Digitain this year, following the addition of Iain Hutchison as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), Grigor Asoyan as Deputy CEO of Technology, and Simon Westbury as CEO of Sport Generate.

Wealth of experience

With a PhD in Philosophy and Economics from Yerevan State University, Martirosyan has a strong background in corporate business, products, and risk management. His previous roles include senior positions at HSBC Bank Armenia CJCS, where he served as the Director of Corporate Banking and Head of Wholesale Banking. Martirosyan’s leadership experience also extends to his role as the President of the Board of Directors of the Armenian British Business Chamber.

Vardanyan expressed his excitement about Martirosyan joining the senior leadership team, highlighting the continued global growth of the business in multiple regulated markets.
